When you submit our financing request form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, financing amount requested and purpose of financing. We also receive information you choose to share when contacting us. Our website platform may record technical details such as your IP address and browser type.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to review your financing request, respond to your enquiries, contact you about the next steps and maintain records of our communications. If further information is needed for an assessment, we will explain what is required and why. Submitting a request does not guarantee financing approval.
Who receives your information
Information submitted through our website form is stored in our WordPress/Jetpack form system and emailed to Morganstep’s designated contact inbox. These website and email service providers process information to support those services. Access within Morganstep is limited to people who need the information to handle your request.
Keeping your information secure
We aim to protect your information through restricted access and appropriate security measures. Please do not enter passwords, PINs, full payment-card details or copies of identity documents in this initial request form. If supporting documents are needed, we will explain how to provide them through an appropriate channel.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information only for as long as needed to handle your request, maintain necessary records and meet applicable legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we will delete it or anonymise it, including copies held in our form system and email records where applicable.
Your privacy rights and contact
You can ask how your information is used, request access to it, object to its processing, or request correction or deletion of false or misleading information. To make a request or raise a privacy concern, email mmorganltd@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before providing information or acting on a request. You can also lodge a complaint with Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner at www.odpc.go.ke.
